Yvonne is a bright 10-year-old female who was born on March 3, 2009. She is a partial orphan who comes to us from Kisii, Kenya. Her mother passed away when Yvonne was 7 years of age and she comes from a very poor background with hard living conditions. She was awarded sponsorship by Generation HOPE in 2017 and is enrolled in St. Marys Nyamagwa Girls Boarding school where she performs at the top of her class. Her favorite color is purple, she has 4 siblings, enjoys science and Swahili class, loves cats, and likes to play football (soccer). Her goal in life is to be a lawyer. Stella Bosibori Kinara

Stella is an intelligent 13-year-old female who was born on April 24, 2006. She is a partial orphan who comes to us from Kisii, Kenya. Her mother passed away when Stella was 10 years and she comes from a very poor background with hard living conditions. She was awarded sponsorship by Generation HOPE in 2017 and is enrolled in St. Marys Nyamagwa Girls Boarding school where she performs at the top of her class. Stella is the oldest of 5 children. Her favorite color is orange, she enjoys math and science, her favorite animal is a cow, and she likes to run. She aspires to be a lawyer one day with her sister Yvonne. Sophia Kemunto Ombiro

Sophia is a sharp 13-year-old female who was born on May 31, 2006. She is a partial orphan who comes to us from Kisii, Kenya. Her mother passed away when Sophia was 7 years of age. She has since lived with her grandmother and grandfather who are sickly and not able to provide for the family. She was awarded sponsorship by Generation HOPE in 2018 and is enrolled in St. Marys Nyamagwa Girls Boarding school where she performs at the top of her class. Sophia has a younger brother names Cillton. Her favorite color is purple, she enjoys math and science, her favorite animal is a rabbit, and she like to play football (soccer). She dreams of being a Doctor when she grows up. In 2019 she won the Math Whiz award and Language award. #IAMGENERATIONHOPE

James Aturo Ratemo

James is a quiet 11-year-old male who was born on August 18, 2008. He is a partial orphan who comes to us from Kisii, Kenya. His mother passed away when James was 8 years of age and he has been acquainted with a hard life from birth. His father is an alcoholic who does little to help provide for his children’s basic needs, as a result James would loiter in the village and would miss attending the public school where he was enrolled resulting in poor performance. He was awarded sponsorship by Generation HOPE in 2017 and is enrolled in enrolled in St. Marys Riabore Boys Boarding school. James has a younger brother named Nathanael. His favorite color is red, he enjoys math, his favorite animal is a monkey, and he likes to play football (soccer). He dreams of being a Pilot one day. Isaac Onsomu Mekonge

Isaac is a driven 14-year-old male who was born on December 19, 2009. He is a total orphan who comes to us from Kisii, Kenya. His Father passed away when Isaac was 9 years old and his mother passed away when Isaac was 1. He lives with Aunt. He has had a painful childhood experiencing the loss of both his parents at a tender age under his watch. The death of both parents affected him greatly and hindered his performance at school. He was awarded sponsorship by Generation HOPE in 2017 and is enrolled in at St. Vincent DePaul for Boys. Despite a slow start, he is now at the top of his class. Isaac has an older brother names Joseph. His favorite color is red, he enjoys math, his favorite animal is a dog, and he like to play football (soccer). He dreams of being a Doctor/Surgeon or a musician one day. In 2019 he won the Most Athletic award. #IAMGENERATIONHOPE

Josephine Bosibori

Josephine a is a shy 11-year-old female who was born on June 20, 2008. She is a total orphan who comes to us from Kisii, Kenya. Her mother passed away when Josephine was 5 years of age after suffering from a long-time illness at home due to lack of resources to seek proper medical attention. She now lives with her grandmother whose home is not conducive to having children live with her (no beds for the girls, table to eat on, and minimal food). Josephine and her sisters would go to bed hungry many times. She was awarded sponsorship by Generation HOPE in 2017 and is enrolled in Fr. Oucho Girls Ichuni Girls Boarding school where she is performing very well. Josephine has 2 younger sister names Mary and Florence. Her favorite color is yellow, she enjoys math and science, her favorite animal is a cow, and she like to play football (soccer). She dreams of being a teacher one day and hopes to help kids who find themselves in conditions like hers. In 2019 she won the Most Improved award. #IAMGENERATIONHOPE

Joseph Kibwage Mochama

Joseph is a motivated 21-year-old who was born on August 7, 1998 in Kisii, Kenya. He comes from a very poor family background. Joseph missed many days from secondary school due to lack of funds to pay school fees. His other siblings suffer equally. Joseph eventually completed his secondary schooling education and was awarded The David Morrisette Physical Therapy Scholarship from Generation HOPE scholarship in 2017. Joseph now attends Moi University in Eldoret studying to be a Physiotherapist. #IAMGENERATIONHOPE
