We are 100% volunteer-based, and Generation HOPE is run like an efficient business. We monitor all costs and procedures closely to make sure that the money our donors provide goes to where it matters–Kenya’s rural villages and the Maasai communities. We are incredibly proud of the value that we provide our donors for each dollar they contribute.

Since we treat the HOPE projects and operations sides of our business differently – separate purposes, separate fundraising goals, and separate bank accounts, we can guarantee that every public dollar donated helps bring HOPE to people in need. 

We rely on a small group of generous private donors to fund all of our operating expenses, that include office rent, flights, marketing materials, and office supplies. Everything from computers, printers, office furniture, much of what we have is gifts-in-kind from private donors. We are profoundly grateful to those who provide the equipment, supplies and services that allow us to focus our donor resources on fulfilling our mission.
